Artists
Mary Klotz, Forestheart Studio
I credit Mary for getting me started (twice). I took the first workshop with her in 2000, when my daughter was still young. As much as I loved it, I didn’t think molten glass and a curious toddler made a good combination. Fortunately, another glass friend, Katherine Buki, pulled me into another class with Mary years later. This time it stuck, and my addiction to glass continues to grow.
Deb Weaver, Fern Hill Studio
Another incredible artist in the Frederick community. A great teacher and endless resource.
Kristina Logan
Could her beads be any more amazing?!? I had the pleasure of a 2 day workshop several years ago, focusing on nothing but the magic of DOT PLACEMENT. Yes, there is a science to it and Kristina brought my work to a new level. I still keep her book at the bedside. Passing the Flame was the first book that explained to me why glass can be so fickle. Her website is a hoot and I dream of taking her workshop in Murano
Davide Penso
Although I never actually met Davide, I did wander into his shop in Murano last summer. Unfortunately he was on vacation, but his lovely assistant gave me a tour. As she spoke no English and my Italian is limited to ordering pizza and wine, she did take great pride on showing me Davide’s chapter in ‘ Master's Book.

Christmas on the Hill
Going on four years, the weekend of Thanksgiving, Suzannes and Carrie Levitt transform their fabulous Myersville home into a Holiday Craft Bazaar, hosting local artists. I love paarticiparing in the show as a way to get my Holiday spirit jump started and gear up with some festive pieces. They continue to grow every year.
Ec’clectibles
I almost always have pieces on display and for sale at this downtown Frederick shop.
